Hamid Enayati lives in Paveh, Kermanshah Province, and is the head of Paveh’s Mountaineering Association.
Arrest
On 14 November 2024, he and his brother Farid Enayati were arrested in Kermanshah by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence.
Defendant’s Rights
He was arrested without a warrant and was denied family visits and access to legal representation during his detention.
Current Status
After several weeks in the Ministry of Intelligence’s detention centre in Kermanshah, Enayati was transferred to the city’s Dizel Abad prison, where he was finally released on bail after 25 days in detention.
