Isa Feyzi, a civil rights activist and former political prisoner from Kamyaran, Kurdistan Province, was previously arrested on 5 January 2019 during a wave of arrests targeting civil rights activists in Kamyaran.
He was temporarily released on bail from Kamyaran Prison after more than five months in detention.
Feyzi was later sentenced by the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj to six years of suspended imprisonment on charges of “acting against national security”.
Arrest
Feyzi was arrested on 6 June 2026 after Ministry of Intelligence forces raided his family home in Kamyaran.
Defendant’s Rights
He was arrested without a warrant and has since been denied access to legal representation and family visits.
Despite repeated efforts by his family to obtain information about his fate, security and judicial authorities have refused to provide any explanation regarding his situation.
Current Status
Feyzi is being held in solitary confinement at the detention facility of the Ministry of Intelligence in Sanandaj.

Kajal Rahmani and Danyal Rahmani, his wife and brother-in-law, were also arrested by Ministry of Intelligence forces at the same time as his arrest.
