Arrest
Kaveh Dastan, a Kurdish civilian from the village of Ney in Marivan, Kurdistan Province, was arrested by security forces in the village on 22 March 2025.
Defendant’s Rights
He was arrested without a warrant and was denied family visits and access to legal representation during his detention.
Current Status
After initial interrogation, Dastan was transferred to Marivan Prison and released on bail of two billion rials (nearly 2,000 USD) on 29 March 2025.
