Arrest
Loghman Zangi, a civilian from the village of Kani Sorkh in Oshnavieh, West Azerbaijan Province, was arrested by security forces together with his son Siamand Zangi at their family home in the village on 4 September 2024.
Defendant’s Rights
Since his arrest, he has been denied the right to meet with his family or to have access to a lawyer.
Current Status
Zangi is being held in a security detention centre in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan Province.
