Mohammad Amini, a Kurdish civilian, was arrested by security forces in Divandarreh, Kurdistan Province, on 8 September 2024.

He was arrested without a warrant and was denied family visits and access to legal representation during his detention.
Current Status
Amini was transferred from the Ministry of Intelligence detention facility in Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province, to the city prison in early October and was provisionally released on 8 October on bail of 10 billion rials (nearly 14,000 USD).
