Arrest
Peyman Shiri, a Kurdish civilian from the village of Taraqeh in Bukan, West Azerbaijan Province, was arrested by security forces together with his sister Srwa Shiri and his cousin Fardin Shiri in the village on 25 September 2024.
Defendant’s Rights
He was arrested without a warrant and has since been denied family visits and access to legal representation.
Current Status
Shiri is being held in the Ministry of Intelligence detention facility in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan Province.
