Arrest
Rebwar Rasouli, a Kurdish civilian from Mahabad, West Azerbaijan Province, was arrested by Ministry of Intelligence agents, along with his brother Ayoub Rasouli, in the city on 15 December 2024.
Defendant’s Rights
He was arrested without a warrant and was denied family visits and access to legal representation during his detention.
Current Status
After several months in detention, Rasouli was transferred from the Ministry of Intelligence detention centre in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan Province, to Mahabad Prison.
