Arrest

Saheb (Arivan) Shakeri, a Kurdish civilian from Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province, was arrested by Ministry of Intelligence forces in the city on 23 March 2025, along with his wife, Shno Mohammadi.

Defendant’s Rights

He was arrested without a warrant and was denied family visits and access to legal representation during his detention.

Current Status

After initial interrogation, Shakeri was transferred to Sanandaj Central Prison and released on bail on 5 April 2025.
