Police fatally shoot Kurdish civilian in Sanandaj

Azad Ranaei, a 34-year-old Kurdish civilian from Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province, was shot dead by police officers on the evening of 26 June. The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that officers stopped his motorbike on Dr Hosseini Boulevard in Sanandaj and proceeded to search him.
