Iranian authorities today executed prisoner Vahed Binami in Naqadeh Prison following his conviction on drug-related charges. Binami, a father of two from Piranshahr, West Azerbaijan Province, had been imprisoned for nearly eight years and was sentenced to death for offences linked to drug trafficking.
