Branch 1 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Saqqez, Kurdistan province, sentenced a Kurdish media activist named Keyvan Rahimi to four months in prison on 1 October. The court tried Rahimi for allegedly “propagating against the state” on the internet. In July, the Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Saqqez summoned the activist. It interrogated him for his activities on the internet.
