Kurdish couple sentenced for taking part in anti-government protests

The Islamic Revolutionary Court in Piranshahr, West Azerbaijan Province, has sentenced Mahvash Tavassoli and her husband, Jotyar Ashrafzadeh, who were arrested during the Woman, Life, Freedom protests in Piranshahr last year and subsequently released on bail.
