Iran executions: Another prisoner executed over drug-related charges
Prisoner Peyman Arab Gicheh, who was previously sentenced to death on drug-related charges, was executed today at Karaj Central Penitentiary in northern Iran. The prisoner was transferred to solitary confinement on 8 January, along with another prisoner, Rashid Lavandpour, for execution. Lavandpour's execution was carried out yesterday morning.
