Prisoner hangs himself days after arrest in Orumiyeh
A prisoner named Shahroud Jafari committed suicide by hanging himself in the infirmary of Orumiyeh Central Prison in West Azerbaijan province on 23 August. The 32-year-old civilian who comes from Orumiyeh was arrested last week on the charge of "premeditated murder" and taken to the city prison.
