Kurdish civilians Reza Ebrahimi and Towfiq Rad have been transferred to the quarantine ward of Orumiyeh Central Prison on 6 July after 45 days of interrogation by the Ministry of Intelligence, sources told the KHRN.

Security forces arrested the two civilians on 22 May in Bukan and took them to the detention centre of the intelligence ministry in Orumiyeh.

On 28 July, Reza Ebrahimi and Towfiq Rad were transferred to the ward for political and religious prisoners after spending three weeks in the quarantine ward.

The two civilians are accused of “membership in Salafi groups”.
