Kolbar Mohsen Abdollahi was killed by gunfire from Iranian border guards in the Kileh border area of Baneh, Kurdistan Province, on 24 October.
The 35-year-old man was shot at close range and without prior warning while on his way to the border, the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned.
Abdollahi’s body was buried in the cemetery of Kupich-e Sofla village in Baneh.
Abdollahi, 35, was a father of four from the village of Kani Bard in Baneh.
