Security forces have arrested three Kurdish individuals, Rebaz Mohammadi Moghaddam, Nasser Alipour, and Rebwar Kouhgard, in the cities of Piranshahr and Bukan in West Azerbaijan Province in recent days and taken them to an undisclosed location.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that security forces arrested Moghaddam without a warrant during a raid on his home in Piranshahr on 15 January and confiscated the mobile phones of his family members after searching the house.
Additionally, on the morning of 15 January, security forces arrested Kouhgard in Bukan and Alipour in the village of Dashband in Bukan.
According to data compiled by the KHRN, at least eight Kurdish civilians and activists have been detained by security forces in the cities of Piranshahr, Naqadeh, Bukan, and Ilam over the past four days.
