Iranian military-security forces detained at least seven protesters in Muchesh, Kurdistan province, during public protests that took place on the evening of 10 November.

The people of Muchesh went to the streets for the first time since the beginning of the country-wide protests against the government’s killing of Zhina Mahsa Amini.

As the protests broke out, military-security forces started shooting at the protesters and arrested a number of civilians.

The detained civilians were identified as Omid Saed Mucheshi, Jamal Saed Mucheshi, Saleh Saed Mucheshi, Shahram Saed Mucheshi, Farshid Saed Mucheshi, Zanko Saed Mucheshi and Milad Saed Mucheshi.

The protesters were arrested and taken to an undisclosed location.

Reportedly, Shahram Saed Mucheshi was arrested while he was wounded after being shot by military-security forces.

The reports received by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) indicate that the anti-riot forces were stationed in the streets of Muchesh in the early morning hours of 11 November.
