On the evening of May 28, the border guards of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the border of Shno (also known in Farsi as Oshnavieh) targeted a number of Kolbars and border businessmen. During this incident, a kolbar was killed while at least one other person was severely injured.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that Iranian border guards at Sipi Riz border fronts of Oshnavieh fired at a number of kolbars and businessman on May 29. As a result, a businessman called “Rebawar Moradi” was killed and at least one other businessman, called Khalil Farrokhi, was seriously wounded.

Rebawar Moradi, (28 years old) residents of Kani Rash village, was married with a one-year-old child.

Khalil Farrokhi was transferred to a hospital by frontier businessmen in the city of Soran in Iraqi Kurdistan and his condition has been reported critical.

It is worth mentioning that on Monday, May 21, IRGC forces entered Iraqi Kurdistan Region in “Kani Khommaro” and targeted a group of kolbars who were resting at the time. ِDuring this incident, a kolbar called Meysam Amoee from Orumiyeh was killed.

Meysam Amoee
