The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces opened fire on a group of Kurdish tradesmen in the Gadar Valley border area in Oshnavieh, West Azerbaijan province, on 9 August, killing a tradesman and wounding two others.
The forces have also detained at least four other tradesmen working in the border area.
The body of the killed tradesman – identified as Mohammad Amin Ahmadi – was taken to the Department of Forensic Medicine in Naqadeh, West Azerbaijan province, and has not been returned to his family, yet.
The injured tradesmen are identified as Abdollah Ahmadi – brother of the killed tradesman – and Ozeyr Saberi-Azar.
Mohammad Amin Ahmadi was 30 years old and the father of three children. He was from the Lajan village in the Tergever district of Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan province.
