Five Kurdish civilians Salah Aji, Ali Joulapas, Shoresh Abdullahnejad, Najmeh Sakhnour and Farman Heydarnejad, who were detained last month by security forces in the cities of Piranshahr in West Azerbaijan Province and Sarvabad in Kurdistan Province, were released on bail in recent days.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has obtained the information that, on Thursday, December 03, 4 civilians from the villages of “Shineabad” and “Gorgol” in Piranshahr, namely Salah Aji, Ali Joulapas, Shoresh Abdullahnejad, Najmeh Sokhnour, were released on a bail of one billion Tomans each. The four civilians were arrested by security forces on November 16 along with another civilian, Ismail Hajiyeh Abdullah. Ismail Haji Abdullah was previously been released on bail on Sunday, Nov 28, 2020.According to another report, Farman Heydarnejad, a civilian of the village of “Diuznav” in Sarvabad, who was arrested on November 3, after being summoned to the Sarvabad Intelligence Office, has been released on 80 million Tomans bail from Marivan Prison recently. He was deprived of the right to visit and contact his family during detention at the Ministry of Intelligence detention centre in Sanandaj and Marivan.
