Orumiyeh: Prisoner taken to solitary confinement for execution

Prisoner Ebrahim Nasirikhah has been transferred today from ward 4 of Orumiyeh Central Prison to solitary confinement for the execution of his death sentence. Nasirikhah was sentenced to the death penalty on "drug-related" charges. On 3 April 2021, prison officials took him and several other prisoners to solitary confinement to carry out their death sentences, but his execution was temporarily suspended for unknown reasons.

Supreme Court Overturned the Death Sentence for a Kurdish Political Prisoner

The family of Houshmand Alipour have stated that the Supreme Court had violated the sentence.
