Prisoner executed over murder-related charges in Iran’s Ilam
Iran has executed a prisoner named Farshad Farzin today in Ilam Central Prison, in the western province of Ilam. An Iranian court had sentenced Farzin to "retribution in kind" (qisas) on the accusation of "premeditated murder" in accordance with the Iranian Islamic Penal Code The civilian was arrested about eight years ago on "murder" charges.
