Today, Iran released a Kurdish political prisoner named Khaled Fereydouni under judiciary amnesty. The political prisoner was released from Orumiyeh Central Prison after serving 22 years. Kurdish political prisoner Khaled Fereydouni has been sent on temporary leave on 16 January, for the first time in 22 years of his imprisonment. Fereydouni spent his imprisonment in the prisons of Mahabad and Orumiyeh in West Azerbaijan province, and Rajai Shahr in Karaj province.
