Iran: Prisoner executed over drug-related charges in Karaj

Prisoner Saman Nabi Garousi was executed yesterday at Karaj Central Penitentiary, in northern Iran, over drug-related offences. Garousi, 30, was originally from Kangavar, Kermanshah province, and lived in Karaj. He was arrested about two years ago and sentenced to death over drug-related charges.
