Kurdish environmental activist Saman Mohammadi was summoned and arrested by the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province, on 28 October.
The reason for Mohammadi’s arrest, who was taken to a security detention facility in Sanandaj, remains unknown.
In recent years, Mohammadi has been actively involved in several environmental organisations in Kurdistan.
