Iranian border guards have shot and wounded seven kolbars in the Hangeh-ye Zhal border area of Baneh, Kurdistan Province, in recent days.

The identities of the injured kolbars are Diako Ramazani, Kianoush Pashaei, Zanyar Rahzadeh, Simko Ravazi, Salah Karimi, Azad Nouri, and Hamidreza Hafezi.

Three kolbars from Saqqez, Kurdistan Province – Ramazani, 25, Pashaei, 21, and Rahzadeh, 22—as well as Ravazi, 37, from Mahabad, in West Azerbaijan Province, were shot and wounded at close range on 15 November.

The following day, border guards targeted and wounded Karimi, a 30-year-old father from Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province, and Nouri, from Baneh.

On 17 November, Hafezi, a kolbar from Saqqez, was shot in the leg after border guards targeted him.

In the past three weeks, three kolbars and a tradesman were killed and at least 50 kolbars sustained gunshot wounds in the border areas of Nowsud and Baneh as a result of shootings by Iranian border guards.
