Farid Roubina, a young kolbar, died of frostbite in the freezing temperatures in the border region of Hanjiran in Marivan, Kurdistan province, on the evening of 6 February.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that Roubina went missing in the heavy snowfall on the kolbar route in the Hanjiran border area, and after an extensive search by the local community, his lifeless body was discovered.
Roubina, from the village of Chali Sur in Marivan, had been married just three weeks earlier.
