Mohammad Ebrahimzadeh and Salam Bazargani, two Kurdish civilians from Piranshahr, have been released on bail from Naqadeh Prison after being detained for four months by the Intelligence Department of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Coprs (IRGC).

Mohammad Ebrahimzadeh and Salam Bazargani were arrested by the IRGC in Piranshahr on March 1, 2020, and transferred to the military-security detention centre in Orumiyeh. The two civilians were transferred to Naqadeh Prison on Saturday, July 4, 2020, after completion of the interrogations.  Mohammad Ebrahimzadeh and Salam Bazargani were released on bail of 800 and 500 million Tomans, respectively a few days ago.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network had previously published a report on the situation of these two detainees, stating that they had only managed to call their families once on June 27 when detained.
