On Friday, a young woman in Sardasht ended her life by taking pills for not yet identified reasons.

“This young woman has been identified as”Sholeh Zarban, 27 years old and single. Her corpse was transferred to the Orumiyeh Forensic Medicine yesterday and delivered to her family after an autopsy,” An informed sourced told Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

Reports indicate that over the past year, dozens of women have committed Suicide for various reasons. Many experts believe that women are still deprived of many righteous privileges due to socio-economic, legal discrimination and cultural constraints. Although attempts are made to show that psychological and individual factors have led to the current situation, the experts believe that the socio-economic and political policies of the Iranian government, in addition, the traditional beliefs of Kurdistan community play a decisive role in driving people to suicide.
