‘Two brothers, Saman and Salar Ghazali who were arrested by security forces in Mahabad on September 17, are still being held at the Intelligence Service Detention Center in Orumiyeh without the right to contact or visit their families.’, a reliable source told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).
Saman Ghazali is a final year student of Master of Sociology at the Boroujerd University and Salar Ghazali is a graduate of the Razi University of Kermanshah.
After their arrest, the two activists were transferred to the Intelligence Service Detention Center in Orumiyeh and they are currently being interrogated on charges of collaboration with a Kurdish opposition party.
There is still no news about their whereabouts and reason for their arrest despite the follow-up of their family.
