The Iranian security forces have put detained students under severe physical and psychological torture in solitary confinement, confirmed a civilian recently released from the custody.
Local Sources in Marivan reported continuing detention and torture of civilians at the Ministry of Intelligence Detention Centre in Marivan.
“Security forces raided Shariati Mariwan High School in the past days and arrested two students,” a source told KHRN.
The security forces had refused to provide food to the detainees in order to humiliate them under pressure, the source added.
A number of recent detainees in Marivan have been identified as Fouad Khezri, Sahib Sohrabi, 15-years-old-student Aras Bafkar, Bahman Geramian and Azad Rouhi.
