Kolbar Nasser Osmani died on the evening of 31 July after falling from a height while transporting goods in the Nirvan highlands in the border area of Baneh, Kurdistan Province, the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned.
Local residents discovered his body on 1 August after several hours of searching, and his remains were taken to Rabat, West Azerbaijan Province, for burial.
Osmani was a 42-year-old father of one from Rabat.
