Iranian security forces have arrested two Kurdish civilians in the western city of Mahabad, in the past week, in the continued wave of arrests of the Kurds in the region.
The arrested civilians were taken to yet-unknown locations, sources told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).
On 2 February, security forces detained Kurdish young man Shahab Ahmadi without an arrest warrant.
Two days earlier, on 31 January, they detained Siyavash Eyni, a teacher in Haj Abdollah Rostamzadeh elementary school, while teaching.
Reportedly, the two civilians have been transferred to a security detention centre in Orumiyeh.
