Iranian security forces arrested a Kurdish civilian named Hossein Ahmadi at his workplace in the Mirava village of Bukan, West Azerbaijan province, on 20 August and took him to an undisclosed location.
There is no information about the reason for the arrest and the whereabouts of the civilian.
According to the statistics collected by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN), at least 25 Kurdish civilians and activists have been arrested by the security forces in the cities of Oshnavieh, Bukan, Mahabad and Miandoab in the last two weeks.
