Iran executed the death sentences of three prisoners identified as Robabeh (last name unknown), Amir Ojaghi, and Heidar Hibozadeh in Yazd Central Prison, central Iran, on 21 July.

The prisoners were moved to solitary cells on 19 July for the execution of their sentences.

Ojaghi, who comes from Kermanshah, western Iran, was arrested about 10 years ago on drug-related charges and was sentenced to death.

Hibozadeh and the woman prisoner Robabeh were previously arrested on murder-related charges and sentenced to “retribution in kind” (qisas).
