A civilian detainee was released on bail after being interrogated at a security detention centre in Marivan for 12 days, a source told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).
24-year-old civilian Shirzad Adwai, a resident of Mariwan, was arrested on 19 November after being summoned to the Intelligence Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC) of Sarvabad and transferred to one of the Marivan security detention centres.
The KHRN has thus far identified 54 detainees during the recent mass protests in Marivan have been revealed, however, there is no precise information on their fate.
