“Parvin Adwai”, a civil activist, was arrested by security forces at her home in Marivan a few days ago.

A reliable source in the city of Marivan has told Kurdish Human Rights Network (KHRN) that “On Saturday, July 27, 2019, plainclothes forces raided Parvin Adwai’s home in Marivan and arrested her while searching the house before transferring her to an unknown location.”

Parvin Adwai has been supporting women’s and children’s rights and the environmental issues in Marivan for the past few years. She has also played an active role in following up several child abuse cases in the village of Celine located at Howraman.
