A Kurdish kolbar has lost his life after falling from the border heights of Tah Tah mountain range in Hawraman region of Kurdistan province in west Iran, on 11 February, sources told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

Kolbar named Aram Jatan fell from the border heights of Tata while carrying goods on his back across the border in the early hours of the morning.

Aram Jatan had a child and was from the village of Kani Sanan in Marivan.

According to statistics compiled by the KHRN, six kolbars lost their lives in the border areas of Baneh and Orumiyeh in January due to avalanches and falling from border heights.
