Iranian border forces have opened fire on a group of kolbars in Siranband border areas in Baneh, Kurdistan province, and killed a young kolbar named Rostam Khezri on 25 March.
Some kolbars present in the area took Khezri’s body to one of the medical centres in Sulaimaniyah in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Khezri, 25, comes from Oshnavieh, West Azerbaijan province.
He had begun working as a kolbar in the border areas of Baneh due to unemployment.
