The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces opened fire on a group of kolbars in the border area of Sheykh Salleh in Salas-e Babajani, Kermanshah province, killing a 23-year-old kolbar named Mohammad Naderi.

An informed source in Salas-e Babajani spoke to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) and said the group of kolbars was targeted from a close distance, adding that they were not carrying any imported goods.

The source said the officer who shot Naderi was at the IRGC base without prosecution.

The source added: “Naderi was killed on the spot with a bullet that hit his head. His body was transferred to the department of forensic medicine in Sarpol-e Zahab [in Kermanshah province]”.

After the autopsy on the afternoon of August 13, the kolbar’s body was handed over to his family.

Naderi, who comes from Anjir Bus village of Salas-e Babajani was buried in the village with the presence of a group of people from the area.
