Aziz Morad Shams, a worker who was injured in the explosion of the remnants of the Iran-Iraq war in Salas-e Babajani, Kermanshah province, on 8 May, died today in Kermanshah’s Taleghani Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
Shams, 43, who worked as a guard at the Changaran Dam in the Ezgeleh district of Salas-e Babajani, was severely injured in the stomach and face when a mortar shell left over from the war exploded near the entrance to the dam.
