The death sentence of a prisoner “Loghman Ahmadpour” was carried out in Sanandaj Central Prison on April 22, and the death sentence of two other prisoners, “Hossein Haydari” and “Saeed Mohammadpour”, were temporarily suspended at Saqqez and Sanandaj prisons.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that the death sentence of Loghman Ahmadpour from Baneh, who was transferred to solitary confinement in Sanandaj Central Prison along with several other prisoners in the past few days, was carried out this morning, Wednesday, April 22. The prisoner was arrested about three years ago on charges of “premeditated murder” and sentenced to death.

He was married with two children.Moreover, the death sentence of another prisoner in Sanandaj Central Prison, Saeed Mohammadpour who was transferred to solitary confinement to serve his sentence, has been temporarily suspended until the end of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, the death sentence of another prisoner, Hossein Haydari, who was transferred to solitary confinement in Saqqez Prison yesterday, has been suspended until the end of Ramadan and the payment of blood money (diyat).

Several other prisoners sentenced to death in Sanandaj Central Prison have been transferred to solitary confinement to serve their death sentences, and there is a risk that they will be executed at any time.
