Kurdish Sunni civilian jailed after 20 days of interrogation
A Kurdish Sunni civilian named Amir Faramarzi has been sent to Orumiyeh Central Prison on 12 July on the accusation of membership in religious groups. Security forces had arrested the civilian on 22 June in Bukan and took him to the detention centre of the Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Orumiyeh.
