Prisoner executed for drug-related charges in Tabriz

Iranian authorities executed Mohammad Khaled Jahangiri, a prisoner from Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan Province, on drug-related charges in Tabriz Central Prison, East Azerbaijan Province, on 22 August. The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that Jahangiri was transferred to solitary confinement for execution the day before.
