Environmental activist dies from injuries sustained in Kamyaran wildfire

Esmaeil Karimi, an environmental activist and employee of the Natural Resources Department in Kamyaran, Kurdistan Province, has died from severe burns sustained while fighting a wildfire in the Kanishah pastures on 22 July.
