Parvin Mousavi, a woman prisoner sentenced to death on drug-related charges, was transferred to solitary confinement in Orumiyeh Central Prison for execution today.
Prison officials have informed the prisoner that her death sentence will be carried out at midnight tonight.
Mousavi, a 53-year-old Azerbaijani Turkic civilian from Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan Province, was arrested about three years ago and sentenced to death on drug charges.
