Kurdish civilian Mohammad Khaled Rasoulzadeh was arrested by security forces in his hometown of Piranshahr, West Azerbaijan Province, on 9 July and taken to an undisclosed location.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that after Rasoulzadeh was arrested at his workplace in Piranshahr, security forces raided his family home in the village of Bandareh, conducting a search without presenting a warrant.

Details of the charges against Rasoulzadeh or his current whereabouts remain unknown.

This arrest follows the detention of two other Kurdish civilians from Piranshahr, Omid Ahmadi and Esmaiel Maroufi, by security forces on the same day.
