In the past week, at least four Kurdish civilians- including Bayazid Ghaderi, Soleiman Karimpour, Khaled Mohammadzadeh and Saber Salehi- have been detained by security forces in the cities of Naqadeh, Mahabad and Sanandaj.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network has been informed that security forces raided the family home of a civilian ‘Bayazid Ghaderi’ in Naqadeh on Aug 31, 2020, arrested him and confiscated a number of his personal belongings before transferring him to an unknown location.Moreover, on Sept 4, 2020, security forces arrested two civilians, Soleiman Karimpour and Khaled Mohammadzadeh, at the village of Khorkhoreh in Mahabad, while they were farming.

According to another report, in the past few days, a civilian from Hassanabad, Sanandaj, ‘Saber Salehi’, was arrested by security forces and taken to an unknown location.

So far, no information has been obtained over the fate of any of the four detainees.
