Prisoner Hamid Emamizadeh was executed today for “premeditated murder” in Parsiloun prison in Khorramabad, Lorestan province.
Emamizadeh, 23, who comes from Kuhdasht, Lorestan province, was arrested about three years ago.
He was sentenced to death on the charge of “premeditated murder” under the Islamic law of qisas or retribution-in-kind, which grants the victim’s family the right to retaliate.
